As anybody who was eager enough to repeatedly visit mensi.ch would have noticed, I didn’t really write anything big (pretty much just a half-baked howto on setting up gentoo on a Thinkpad T43p). Although I recently stumbled on various interesting things to write about, I didn’t do it; I think it had to do with the amount of work you have to do if you want to write something with a default install of typo3.

So I just installed WordPress hoping it would ease publishing stuff without worrying about pagestructure and stuff. I also decided to write in English to practice and potentially reach a wider audience (ya I know, it won’t be that wide ). It was amazing how much spam I got on the default “Hello World” entry just an hour after installing WordPress…
