Manuel Stocker is a computer science student at ETH Zürich.
Technical interests:
- Webapplications (Python/PHP/PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- (Para-)Virtualization with Xen and KVM
- Networks (Tunneling, Routing, BGP, advanced firewall tricks)
- WiFi (Long distance links, Wardriving, Kismet, Meshing, …)
- .NET/WPF/C#
- Linux/FreeBSD (some may think this is conflicting with the previous point, but it is not!)
- Low-level / embedded development (mainly in C and only basic asm)
- Reverse-engineering of file formats and network communication
Social activities / interests:
- Training kids in swimming (J&S Leiter I)
- Member of the board of the computer science students association (VIS)
- Marksmanship with the MSV Walchwil
- And various other stuff (probably the typical “hanging out” and “friends” thing…
